5th to the 19th

Hi everyone,

How is it going. We haven't been doing much but a couple of the things we have done over the last couple of weeks are , we went to the Bristol City football stadium and we went on the London eye. The London eye was the best thing we got up so high and we could see everything we had seen. We also we to the place where King Arthur was supposedly burred but we didn't go in "it was to expensive". In the same town Glastonbury we saw the Glastonbury Tor it was on top of a big hill that we had to walk up and mum struggled and she is meant to be the hill climber hahaha. Also in Bristol we saw suspension bridge it was amazing it was built in the 1830's and look how well it was built and the views were majestic it was the best thing we saw in Bristol. That is it for now keep in touch.

  3. Hi Bill,

I love the idea that you are so over castles and ancient ruins you are now looking at rocks. Sure, it was a high rock and a big climb. But a rock nevertheless.
Did you know that our Melbourne Eye buckled in the heat recently and so now isn't working at all? Probably has to get pulled. All those tourists will miss out on a view over the freeway.
Enjoy the 14c. I see Andy wearing a T-Shirt at the footy ground. Really fitting in like a local. At the moment it's 32c but very windy. Turkey will be interesting. I can't wait to hear about it. Maybe you can coincide the travelling with a hair cut??? You can come home with an album of "Haircuts of the World!".
    I'll email you soon.
    Love Linda xoxo

  4. How are you Bill, have you and your Dad organised your Supercoach team yet? I have a gun team, plenty of 1st year players and a few magpies. Is Dad still bowling bouncers at you? Hope you are enjoying the soccer, it is indeed a great game. And the Vics won the Shield! Bye for now, Gordo (which the kids in 9G aren't allowed to call me)

  5. Hi Bill
Liked your pictures of the bridge in Bristol. Next time youre back there you should see Temple meads railway station and the SS Great Britain. Both designed by the same bloke who did the bridge. You could also visit the Rumney Pub and sit at the same table that RL Stevenson wrote Treasure Island or perhaps visit Downend cricket club, where WC Grace played. There's lots of stuff to do in Bristol.

  6. Hi Billy, Good to read about your trip to Bristol and to Glastonbury. Glad you liked the swing bridge. We climbed the Glastonbury Tor on a very windy day and we were almost blown off the top. it does have a spooky feel about the place. As for Glastonbury itself it crtainly has a very different atmosphere.

  7. Hi Billy

You are really becoming a professional in this blog caper. It is great to see how the blog has changed and the comments you are putting in. I think it is interesting to see where you have been and what you are doing, but even more interesting to find out the places and things that you enjoy/or not enjoy and what you find "majestic". Keep up the good work and I am pleased that you throw in things about Declan as well.
